When we first met with Morgan and Jonathan to discuss their day, February 6th, in snowy Brant Lake, all I could imagine was a blizzard and having to borrow a snowmobile to get there. When I made a wise crack about a possible wedding blizzard, Morgan smiled ear to ear and said she and her family hoped so. Jonathan and his family, not so much. There was no snow on their day, but was it cold. The wind was sharp, the air crisp, and the sky a magnificent blue.
Their day, even without snow, was pretty perfect…..Some of our favorites.

Hope you are all enjoying the winter slumber…
Well, three more hours and the first day of 2010 will be all over. I had a great day, took our nephew sledding and forgot that I am only nine months from 30. A big thank you and hi to all our past and future clients who have let us share in their amazing, special days. I going to buckle up now, and get ready for another wonderful, amazing year. Night.

We had to go an hour or so north for Lisa and Matt’s engagement shoot. They live in Jay, in the Adirondack Park, and let me tell you, if you have not been up that way, start planning now. The drive up was beautiful. Jay had no shortage of great spots. We found an old barn that was sitting in this golden field, it was a perfect scene for portraits. We had a blast with these two and can only imagine their wedding will be just as good next spring in Lake Placid. We can’t wait!!! Here are a few of our favorites.
